UA Certificate In College Teaching
The UA Office of Instruction and Assessment sponsors a Certificate in College Teaching for students and postdoctoral scholars. This 10-unit program consists of a series of courses that provide foundational information and help develop the competencies necessary to teach effectively in higher education. The program includes courses in learner-centered teaching, teaching with technology, and an instructional practicum. The program is usually completed in 2-3 semesters and must be completed within 4 years. Courses can be taken individually or as part of the Certificate in College Teaching Program and are eligible for Qualified Tuition Reduction (QTR).
