NASA is accepting applications to make innovative use of NASA satellite data to address regional-to-global environmental, economic, and/or societal impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. Proposals due MARCH 29, 2021

The Mellon-Fronteridades Creative Scholars program provides funding for postdoctoral scholars passionate about enriching understanding of the US-Mexico borderlands through scholarly projects. Applications are due April 1st, 2020. Awards will be granted to three creative scholars completing a research-based or scholarly project from August 2020 to April 2021.

A convivial group of postdocs and some of their family members gathered to enjoy a potluck dinner together at the Postdoctoral Affairs building this week. The food was exceptional and included savory and sweet dishes (all homemade!) from Bangladesh, Belgium, Canada, France, India, Iran, Italy, and the US.
