Prioritize Your Health … NOW!

Life is demanding. As scholars, researchers, and mentors, our work can seem all-consuming. Add to that family and other responsibilities and there is little time to think about health. It is far too easy to believe that there will be plenty of time later to establish good health habits. But given that life’s demands only seem to increase, when will you truly have time to prioritize your health? How about NOW?

This 6-week series (1 hour/week) with Dr. Leslie Bosch, National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, is being offered free of charge to UArizona postdocs. Throughout the series, you will learn a variety of research-based strategies you can use to create positive change in your health and your health habits. Dr. Bosch will lead you through a process in which you will: (1) identify your mission, aspirations, and purpose to reveal why your health is essential to you, (2) perform a self-assessment of the seven core areas of health (sleep, nutrition, movement, relationships, resilience, spirituality, and environment) and select an area of focus, (3) create a powerful plan of action that sets you up for success, and (4) engage with other postdocs to support one another, celebrate successes, and troubleshoot challenges.

The series will be held on Fridays from 12:00 – 1:00 pm from January 29 through March 3, 2021
