Dr. E. Fiona Bailey

Fiona is a Professor in the Department of Physiology in the College of Medicine. She runs a clinical and basic science laboratory and has mentored and trained undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral scholars across a range of disciplines including Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, Nursing, Bioinformatics,  Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, Exercise Sport Science and Physiology. Fiona, is a member of the American Physiological Society, previous Associate Editor of the Journal of Applied Physiology and reviewer on NIH study sections. Her clinical trial work has yielded patent applications and industry partnerships focused on de novo biomedical devices and therapies.
