Writing an Effective Teaching Philosophy Statement (External Event)

This event is held by the Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning (CIRTL).

Join CIRTL's interactive two-part online workshop to learn what a teaching philosophy statement is, how it’s used in the academic job market, and how to craft your own. We’ll cover key components, evidence of effective teaching, and strategies to start or refine your statement. Through small group writing and peer feedback, participants from all disciplines will leave better prepared to communicate their teaching practice.
