Serve on the Faculty Senate Committees!

Since 2017, the UArizona Faculty Senate has invited postdocs to be on standing committees. There are currently three committee openings for postdocs to serve on the (1) Academic Personnel Policy Committee, (2) Committee on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and (2) Research Policy Committee. Service on Senate committees has several benefits that include learning about the “inner workings” of a university, networking opportunities with faculty and administrators, and a high-level service entry on your CV.

How to Apply:

Please apply for only one of these Senate committees by August 30, 2024. To apply, you will need the following (submitted as a single pdf document):

  1. A letter (1-2 pages) describing your activities (research, teaching, service/outreach) at the University of Arizona and why you would like to join the committee. You may address the letter to:
