Congratulations to the 2022 Galileo Circle Postdoc Awardees!

Congratulations to Drs. Melissa Flores (Psychology) and Stefano Nerozzi (Lunar & Planetary Laboratory) for winning the 2022 Galileo Circle Postdoc Award! This award recognizes remarkable faculty and staff who help advance the College of Science mission for inclusive excellence in teaching and research. We are thrilled that the impactful work of UArizona postdocs is recognized by such an award.

Dr. Flores is the recipient of an NIH K99 Maximizing Opportunities for Scientific and Academic Independent Careers (MOSAIC) training grant and is committed to strengthening the academic pipeline for diverse scholars. Dr. Nerozzi is the PI on a NASA proposal to study the fluvial and geologic history on Mars, and mentors a diverse group of undergraduate research assistants.
