Thinking Like a Search Committee: Packaging Your Experience for a Tenure Track Faculty Position (External Event)

This event is held by the Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning (CIRTL).

This event pulls back the curtain on the academic hiring process to help postdocs transition into tenure-track faculty roles. By viewing the hiring process through the eyes of a search committee, participants will learn exactly how their application materials are screened, scored, and short-listed. Attendees will gain actionable insights into committee processes and practices and learn how to strategically align their CVs, cover letters, and research statements with institutional expectations.
