When
This event is held by the U of A Work & Life.
Burnout is a state of emotional, mental, and physical exhaustion caused by prolonged stress, and many people don't notice the early warning signs until it's too late. With nearly half of employees reporting burnout and many seeking new jobs as a result, recognizing symptoms such as loss of interest, negative thinking, or unhealthy habits is crucial. This workshop helps attendees understand burnout, its impact on work and wellbeing, and provides tools like CredibleMind assessments to identify signs early. Participants will also learn strategies to manage stress, create prevention plans, and build a support system to maintain long-term balance.
This event counts toward the Postdoctoral Professional Development Certificate (*HW)
